Please note: Equipment configures for Microsoft Windows. Hirers must provide their own connecting equipment if they wish to use Apple hardware/software.

Once we receive your booking form, our events team will reach out to discuss your booking in more detail, to fully understand your requirements. Please note, if your booking requires more involved support from the ADA SA Team, additional charges may apply.

Acceptable Use and Rules for Hirers

Hire of the Member Facilities is subject to it being left in the same condition that the hirer finds it. Hirers therefore agree to the following acceptable use checklist.

  • A credit card payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Booking can be refunded with no charge up to seven days before the event. A 25% charge is levied for cancellations within seven days of the event.

  • Booking form/s and payment must be received at least 17 days prior to the event. If payment is not received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

  • A standard cleaning fee of $150 (incl. GST) will apply. If additional services are required by the hirer, charges may apply. Please discuss this with the Event Manager upon booking.

  • Premises must not be used for any illegal purposes or purposes that contravene Unley City Council regulations.

  • Hirers are responsible for managing the event space independently, with no support from ADA SA staff. Additional charges may apply if staff assistance is needed.

  • Onsite parking is not available during business hours although the rear car park may be used outside of business hours if there are free ADA SA signed spaces.

  • Hirers must ensure that noise is limited so that it does not disturb neighbours.

  • Dishes should be stacked in the dishwasher.

  • General rubbish (blue bin) and recycling (yellow bin) to be put in the relevant bin located in the front gated area.

  • Equipment must be left in the condition in which you find it and report any faults.

  • Please do not move the lectern and/or touch the audio equipment.

  • A full premises briefing will be provided upon collection of the fob prior to the event date.

  • Equipment is compatible with Microsoft Windows. It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide any cables necessary to make the audio-visual equipment compatible with Apple technology.

  • Attendees must be advised of the evacuation plan outlined on the Emergency Checklist. The hirer must keep a list of attendees to verify that everybody is evacuated in an emergency.

  • Clear access must be given for all fire response equipment.

  • Clear access must be given to all emergency exits.

  • Smoking is prohibited within the building.

  • Power extension cords must never be left unattended across passageways or driveways, unless the area is barricaded off.

  • Lights and air conditioner must be switched off, internal doors downstairs should be shut and all external doors locked before leaving the premises.

All site-related injuries and near misses must be reported to the CEO immediately via admin@adasa.asn.au to comply with Workplace Safety Rules.
